Of course, with no original letters, one can't really say who wrote what and who was an eyewitness to what. Luke was supposedly a running buddy of Paul's who was not eye witness to events he wrote about in his letter to someone named Theophilus (sp) if memory serves) called "Luke" in the Bible and not eyewitness to much of the second he wrote to the same person, called "Acts" in the Bible. Since the letters called the Gospels seem to contradict each other on several different points, and acts contradicts Matthew, it is certainly a shame we have no original documents and no proof of who really wrote the originals and what others may have added or subtracted along the way etc. etc. etc. Let's get back to TMMI, I'd hate to argue religion and politics while we still have the company to argue about. ;-) Unless anyone has heard any good Bill and Monica jokes lately. <g> Carol
