Offshore Technology Conference May 3-6 in Houston I just received the OTC preliminary program in the mail. If I remember correctly the offshore drillers had some pretty good moves during this conference last year. It might be helpful to add these dates to your calendar, for trading purposes. I also liked the price action on GIFI a lot and have a sneaking suspicion that something is up with Petronius. Rotated Friday and today from FLC and VTS to GIFI (Sarge will be proud of me) and PZE. CNN shows snow all over the place (18" in Oklahoma on Saturday). API report should show another very hefty draw on distillates tomorrow and the following Tuesday (wouldn't be surprised if next week's report showed the distillate inventory similar to year ago levels). Gasoline will probably be up again since the snow reduced driving, but the summer driving season is still ahead of us.
