Thanks, Marc. If I do post here (which is only occasionally), I will confine the topics to matters financial (in general) and to Brinker's radio programs (in particular).

Makes some sense to me, but Dipy has the burden of his posting history to overcome in the minds of many here. It is an undeniable fact. And I don't care who is to blame for it. He is stuck with it and must work extra hard to overcome that burden with many here. And, likewise, if he shows a willingness to overcome that burden we should let him post. But damn it, I should not be punished by his posts by having to play hall monitor on a dialy basis. Unfortunately for Dipy, if given the choice between asking one to leave as opposed to asking many to leave, I take the path of least work into account when making decisions of that sort. Moreover, one of the prequisites for posting here is fundamental respect for Brinker. Says so in the charter. If someone is going to criticize Brinker for something, be prepared to back it up factually. Open ended statements like Brinker missed this or that without any substantiation will not be tolerated. Posts should be well thought out especially when they are critical of Bob, otherwise they are hit-and-run drivel. Why do we go out of our way for Bob? Because we all are grateful in one way or another for his presence and will do or say nothing here that would in any way encouarge to pursue his golfing career, something which I have given considertation to myself over the past two days. He is doing a service for us all and does not need the money. It is the very, very least we could do. Who among us would destroy the very person we have come to admire so much over the years? Nobody. That is why this is the Honor Thread.
