edamo... please excuse my barging in here.... but..... I noticed your note to Lynn (freeus) wondering about the Inspiron. Let me give you my vote of recommendation. I bought an Inspiron 3500 (300 mghz, 96 RAM, 4g hd, 14.1 screen, + ethernet card) last month. I LOVE it. I shopped around, did all the DD comparisons with CPQ, Micron, Winbooks. Best price was DELL. I had the machine in 3 days (I did go for over overnight shipment, but that was my called I needed it right away). Laura PS I have a DELL Dimension 450 mghz, and some older machines (Micron & CPQ). I don't think there's anything on the market that will beat DELL right now... they're even more price competitive in the past 2 months... and no-one can beat them on quality and value. lew
