He seems to regret his decision, which I assume (because it's Buffett) is because he now recognizes something in the business that he didn't before, and not that he simply regrets the subsequent price run-up.

Well, I guess I can take some comfort in the fact that I'm in very good company. I really would like to get back into MCD, but NO WAY am I going to pay 40 times earnings.
