Lou D, thanks for your verification! I have known several so called free internet access, such as freewwweb.com, zdial.com, freeppp.com,
netzero.com, and xoom.com but none of them provide a local number
that I can use, none of them actually give away without
pre-conditions.

MSFT is still in ANTI-Trust case with DOJ, I have very strong doubt
that MSFT will do a forever free internet access at this sensitive time even though they want to.

The core of the anti-trust case is that MSFT uses the window operating
to push and to force others to adopt the standards they set and
IE browser is in the core of that argument.

Unless MSFT gives away the internet access but using NSCP's browser
which is going to be AOL's browser after 3/17/99, then
I'll say MSFT has class.
