You are right Randy. All of the patents I have seen are digital, digital, digital! True some of them are tape and hard drive media but still digital. Even the Mitsu suit was about a digital to analog or was it analog to digital based? They were the first to promote digital studio equipment and lost out because they were to early and did not improve on their analog equipment. HDTV is coming and they have some patents with that also. Their DST is the fastest and largest digital storage backup device available. Look at there web site ampex.com and look at the specs. You will see a lot of computer standards mentioned on their equipment. If Sam thinks Ampex is all analog then he should think about why would Ampex invest in TV on the Web?
