Yes. And I wonder how this will affect future budget deficits and the debt. I have heard that something $10 trillion is going to pass from generation to generation over the next 30 years or so (the state of science permitting, at any rate<g>). At least $2-3 trillion in estate taxes, after all the smaller estates and the tax avoidances of the larger ones are taken into account, I guess. Unless, of course, the Republicans manage to finally get their Holy Grail passed (reduced or eliminated estate taxes).That money in itself might keep SS solvent!
