8/1 is not a rumour, spence - for every wsp share you hold on the record date you'll get a share of wsp/Camsell and for every 8 shares you'll get one of the spinoff as well - newswire.ca They're getting ready for wheelin' and dealin', separating the values so that Carat and Hilltop etc aren't traded off for nothing. There's a poison pill in place already so hostile bids shouldn't be a problem. A guy I know had a conversation with RT about a year and a half ago where RT stated emphatically that he had no desire to be a miner - he just wanted to run an exploration company. Fwiw.
