Roy A. Thiele-Sardiña is responsible for sales operations and channels for the Company. Mr. Sardiña has over 16 years of experience in the computer industry. Prior to joining G2, Mr. Sardiña was a member of the founding management team at Brocade Communications, a Fibre Channel switch company. He served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development securing Brocade's initial OEM customers, technology partners and initial funding. Previously Mr. Sardiña spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems, Inc. in various sales and management positions. He developed Sun's initial telecommunications industry strategy and drove sales to over $300 million in 3 years. In addition, Mr. Sardiña managed Sun's Intercontinental Sales, which grew to nearly a one billion-dollar business between 1989 and 1992. Prior to leaving Sun and while Director of Corporate Development in the Office of the Chairman, Mr. Sardiña negotiated the initial Java Licenses with companies such as Netscape, ESPN and Mitsubishi. Mr. Sardiña has undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin and holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
