Tim, welcome back, you did not miss much, I am afraid.

TKC:

I tried to stay away, some cheered my brief absence, but I got quite a few calls to come back. And, I will be honest, I missed it.

Razorbak:

Great post. I vaguely remember reading this back in University, but that was a very long time ago. I, too, have saved it in my scrapbook of useful financial tidbits.

Proxy-Gambling

After reading most of the proxy, it is clear as black and white that this stock is a total gamble, and a bad one at that. The way I see it, is that they have maybe a few months left and then it is light out! So why do I even spend a minute more of my time on this? Maybe for the same reason they are spending so much time doing the stock split and adding board members. Why would they go through all this effort if they were not working on some reasonable bail-out plan, that had a chance. Or maybe I just can't come to believe that I lost a _ _ _ _ load of money on this stock and they are grasping at any last straw to help put more salary $$s in their pockets.
Who really knows!?! The good news is that it seems that one way or another the end or a new beginning is nearing.

Bye the way, did I read the proxy correctly? Are there really over 12 Million options outstanding. This is over 10% of the current issued shares. This seems like a lot but I yield to those on this board who have more experience.
