But rather he heads the Office of the CEO, which is a committee of Mort Topfer, Kevin Rollins and MSD. Granted Michael has the final say, but they work together to achieve the greater good. The notion on MSD answering to Lou Gerstner is a bit odd. Not many billionaires answer well to corporate stiffs. Nevertheless, I would expect that it would almost have to end up that way in a merger (a la Time Warner-Turner). My prediction has always been for a partnership, but at the velocity this is moving, I wouldn't be surprised to see a merger. Regards, LoD
