I have fell into "I want to be right" but it takes the form "this stock owes me my loss and I want it back". Best thing to do is take it off watchlist. Your money is tied up waiting for the move that is not there.

A good service like Quote.com gives an insight into bid/ask or time and sales. An important measure is rate of trades especially when rate increases at key indicator signals. I have focused more on buying at bid with good success, the stocks I trade seem to match a sell with a buy often. I never use a market order, all limit orders.

I win big and can lose big. But I try to keep emotions even. There will always be a market and stocks going up or down.
