wow! what a difference one day makes, all the gossip about dell and ibm is far-flung IMO. DELL will not acquire anything or anybody too huge to digest. look no further than CPQ for the evidence, they have been trying to swallow dec for way too long and they still have'nt felt a big impact on earnings from dec. I think an alliance (or strategic partnership) is not too far away though. Dell has said many times that they will not "buy into" growth. just my 2 cents.
