Institutions have already bought 8% of Ampex...Fidelity Investments increased its holdings in Ampex substantitally...

Institutions collectively probably account for 80% or more of the US stock market. If they own only 8% of AXC, they are substantially underweighted and letting the little guy hold the bag.

If institutional ownership is on a rising trend, that would be bullish. But I'd have to see the time series numbers to believe it. Vicker's anyone? I'd settle for StockSmart Pro.

Fidelity and FBCS buying? When and how much? Must be Fidelity low priced stock fund. They can afford to take a chance. Bet it is less than 1% of this overall portfolio. And even if Fidelity owned 100% of AXC it would be less than .000000001% of their overall portfolio, so just what does this prove?

I can't take the word of an anonymous poster on Yahoo. If Fidelity were buying, believe me, the string would break. It wouldn't be drifting down to 2.

I heard from a friend that Michael Cooper may have hired a new general manager for the Micronet division. He had no details and I haven't gotten through to investor relations yet (always voicemail). Can anyone verify this and give details?

According to StockSmart Pro, Fidelity Capital and Income Fund did buy 1 million shares of AXC in the year ended 10/31/98. I'd like to know more...Anyone have Vickers?
