To all: What am I missing?? Or, what are some of you missing?? DELL & IBM sign a $16 billion pact (old news). In any deal all parties must reap some benefit. Right? Here's the deal: 1) IBM ....sells $16 BB of hardware to DELL (in a non-exclusive agreement). GOOD for IBM. 2) DELL....well, well, hmmm, well...well what the hell is DELL getting out of this deal? _______________ (please fill in the blank). Kemble, Re: The server facility in Round Rock was either built for airplanes or else DELL was planning to sell quite a few systems.... Yeah.....maybe that's why they built it next to the airport..... or else they knew Bachman was planning to bring the SI tour through this summer! Best, Steve
