The alliance between Egghead.com and ZDTV creates one of the first partnerships of convergence advertising: live television via ZDTV combined with real-time information from Egghead.com's auction Web site. However, over the course of the agreement, Egghead will expand its offers to include products at fixed prices particularly bargains from the SurplusDirect liquidation center. Internet Tonight is a daily, half-hour television program produced by ZDTV, an affiliate of Ziff-Davis. Its core audience consists of computer enthusiasts. Overall, ZDTV reaches more than 11 million households nationwide. EGGS not in synch with other Internet stocks - your right about this since January 26th when the last quarterly announcement occured and stock dropped 4 in two days. There seemed to be confusion over the earnings results, since EGGS was comparing current Internet revenue to last years larger 97-98 retail store revenue. Do you know if the next earnings report period will still show retail store revenue from 98 and when this earnings report is scheduled? I do believe EGGS has substance as a company--still IMO the most dominant & visible on-line computer retailer--I would think trader's perceptions are more likely affecting COOL and ONSL--any thoughts as to why these jump up more than EGGS?
