Doc, Thean, et al.,
How about that damn MACR? Sure was a nice pick back at what, 30.5? Must have gotten a whole case of energizer batteries <G> OK, Thread; who thinks it's got enough strength to plow right past that recent high of 42.5 on it's way to 63, who thinks it's got to base out under 46 for a while (while the DOW wrestles with 10K by the way), and who thinks...? Inquiring minds want to know. It's looking pretty bloody strong to me, or am I missing something?
Is SPNSF a red headed step child or what? Where's the volume? I said yesterday that I thought it would pull back from 11 but I didn't really want to see 10. Somebody dumped a bunch of shares right at the close or volume would have been light today even by SPNSF standards. It bounced back up pretty nice though. Maybe it's got some support. At least somebody thought 10 was a good buying op. So, is it breaking down or just coiling up for the big move? We'll see, soon I think.
SIII might be telegraphing another scalpable pop soon. It'll be obvious from the volume if it's going to go, but it likes to move after low volume, low price swing days (7/16 high to low) like today.
Thean, I could like your CIEN play if it can hold support here, which it looks like it might. Man you too quick for me though. I'd kind of like to see if it can stay above 23.5 before taking a plunge.
Looks like Doug R's faith in SOF might not have been misplaced after all. Strong move today and some technicals make it look like it could just be getting started. If it can get over that short term resistance tomorrow...
