chung - depends on what state you're in; some states, it is NO problem to enforce it...

you can usually get a credit place to do to the dirty work for you...and, yes, there's some people on the newsgroup i mentioned (news.admin.net-abuse.email) in washington state, which has put e-mail under almost the same rules as faxes (no bulk junk ones), who have already collected a few thousand dollars. and similarly, i know pennsylvania is real easy to collect for junk faxes.

it all depends on where you are, but, yes, you *can* collect. and if you don't want to spend the time, just hire a collection agency...give them 1/2 (which is more than they want), and they'll be ecstatic.
