chung - depends on what state you're in; some states, it is NO problem to enforce it... you can usually get a credit place to do to the dirty work for you...and, yes, there's some people on the newsgroup i mentioned (news.admin.net-abuse.email) in washington state, which has put e-mail under almost the same rules as faxes (no bulk junk ones), who have already collected a few thousand dollars. and similarly, i know pennsylvania is real easy to collect for junk faxes. it all depends on where you are, but, yes, you can collect. and if you don't want to spend the time, just hire a collection agency...give them 1/2 (which is more than they want), and they'll be ecstatic.
