mano;

You have convinced me. I will buy Dragon tomorrow. Have had an earlier bug ridden version for some time but long since uninstalled it. I knew they were getting better but your post was an eloquent vote for. As to value all I know is that it can only add more value to WSEG and SEG is the only early play I know of re: Dragon.

As to MP3:

I am listening as I type this. I have about half a gig of MP3s and growing. I load them on my laptop and take my music with me when I travel. (I long ago gave up hanging around hotel bars and discos and am the room service/internut type now :)) Some tips:

A very easy package that does all is MusicMatch's "JukeBox" . Very inexpensive and fully featured CD ripper and MP3 encoder that does it all in one sweep, and very fast. Unfortunately I have an incompatibility with it and my CD-Rom drive. So I use WinAmp which is by far the best on the market that I have tried but is a player only. For CD ripping I use WinDac32 and for encoding I use AMP3ENC which is a very thorough encoder offering all the schemes you could want but is a bit cumbersome to use with a sort of DOS derived GUI and no help files. But it doesn't take too long to figure it out and it works fine. One last tip: After downloading a "free" song or two you will likely tire of the extensive download times and the hassle. Aside from the moral dillemma of ripping off copyrighted material it just isn't worth the time. But recording your own CDs is a great way to put music at your fingertips and allow you to program it any way you want it.

Best,
Stitch

<<And the good news doesn't stop there. Over the weekend they sent out free upgrades
to version 3.5. >>
Exactly which program do you have? I don't see a version 3.5 even on their Website. Sure hope it works better than my useless Via Voice.
