Bill, I saw that list and confirmed something I already learned. CompactFlash has taken a foothold in portable computing. I am not only referring to the multifunctional CF slot, but also the type II PCMCIA slot. I mentioned a few weeks back the plethora of devices that are available for plugging into the CF slot. In the handheld/palm top arena CompactFlash is pervasive. No other removable memory has achieved this type of penetration. In fact, CF has been adopted to the exclusion of competitive forms of flash or rotating disk solutions. Ausdauer
