My father is Stream Man. He is the best natural-landscape stream builder I have ever seen. He even gets the baby pebbles and sand at the bottom right. (heh heh. "Baby Pebbles.") He should have been like one of those National Artists that Japan preserves. Instead of a plant manager. He could have built an American Saiho Ji. But alas. He produced Super Fund Clean-up Sites. In a way, such is the problem with phases of culture. Greats of one era may appear at the wrong time. This was, imho, a very regrettable loss; comparable to the loss of a great painter. Picture the landscape without Monet, or cypresses without Van Gogh.

I don't think Kosovo yet, because it's been quiet here (not too far from Dulles). I can always tell when things are gearing up for something, because the air traffic gets really noisy. The military leases commercial jets for support cargo and stuff. The lady who used to live next door handled the extra traffic, another indicator was when she started pulling overtime. But they have moved to Florida. Well, maybe your local units are getting ready, but the ones here don't seem to be. I can tell the sides apart, I am part Croatian, there is a world of difference between Milosovic and those poor bastard Albanians.
