Beginning to think that nothing less than severe civil strife in SA as the economy suffers from tanking gold prices will cause the US financial establishment to abandon its war on gold.

But if US policy can swing from its decades long promotion of lower oil prices to the current policy of supporting big OPEC cuts, anything can happen.
