To: All, Re: QCOM price, China, etc.

There doesn't seem to be any particular news that would account for the recent strong performance of QCOM. The events concerning Cinecomm, China, and the possibility of allowing CDMA there in exchange for WTO membership; and a possible alliance with Ericsson are all speculative in terms of impact on earnings. But there is one thing that in my view explains the renewed investor interest: It's the patents, stupid! Art Bechhoefer

Hold on just a wee minute there Mqrxiii45904598ce, or whatever in blue blazes is the spelling du jour. I am a 9th degree black belt HDTV couch potatoe [NZ spelling, cute eh?] pro from Dover and ain't heard diddily squat about no Q involvement with HDTV. If you've been holding out on me again, I'm gonna be realllllly honked off. What's the scoop?
Still waiting on Anti-Gravity Spin Reversal share certificates: e-mailed quero-dollars[TM] ages ago, so don't give me this "money lost in cyberspace" wheeze. Tried reporting you to Euro Commission but the damned board resigned before taking up my case. Have mercy. Surfer Mike
