>>The merger looks to have been an effort by both to stay in business.<< I agree, REW........in fact, I think it will only get worse financially in the long run for these companies. I guess that I'm just impatient to see TSIG get this kind of notice in the press. We've got such a good thing going here.........and sometimes it just seems as if "we're" the only ones that know about it. Long on TSIG since last Fall !! Tina

REW

Your post says in a very clear way what Dixie7777 said repeatedly very early on ... that "We're in the card business".

Since we've had some time to ponder that and with the announced deals to date, the perspective, within which we can view the marketing plan is becoming staggeringly apparent.

And thanks to you, we've been given the underlying details and understanding of what's happening.

Thanks for your continued efforts on all our behalfs....or should that be "behalves?"

<<Given the service and product selection at discounted prices, which are less than the competition, MusicCard owners should have no problem returning as repeat customers.>>

Customers have plenty of reason the return, several of which you have mentioned. A few other reasons why they will return, although they may not be cognizant of them, would be familiarity and habit formed over the course of purchasing 20 CDs.

With good service and low price it should be very difficult for other traditional marketers of CDs to woo our customers away. Other marketer's adds would simply be of no interest at all if I knew how to obtain CD at the lowest price.
