I know you're joking around, but it takes a very unusual 28-year-old to be able to retire. I'm not talking about money, I'm talking about the amount of energy you have to move things around in the world. It has to be channeled somewhere. I retired very early and found I needed to work again for non-financial reasons.

QWST seems likely to be one of the strong horses you ride to financial independence. I would look at others as well, though - any given horse can get tired but a small team of strong ones will carry you well. A bunch of good ones have been mentioned on this thread and others... N.B. I don't believe in massive diversification because that leads to average performance.
