It's not my analysis. It's ABI's.

Check post #5699. IC Chipsets for Broadband Applications to Grow 30% Annually Through 2004, Says ABI
OYSTER BAY, N.Y., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The IC market for wireline broadband applications (ADSL, cable modems, HDSL, and VDSL) is expected to grow from $174.1 million in 1999 to $638.4 million in 2004. The greatest share of this market value in 1999 is attributed to cable modems with 43% market share while HDSL accounts for 24%, and ADSL and VDSL represent 24% and 2%, respectively. This information is available in a new report, ''Broadband Integrated Circuits: A Strategic Analysis of the World Market for Wireline Chipsets'' from Allied Business Intelligence.

All I did was break out the ADSL part of ABI's numbers. (Post 5701):
ADSL accounts for 24% of $174 M market, or $42 M this year. Let's see, G.lite must be about 1/3 of that at around $14 M at most. AWRE cores portion of that is about $5 M, wouldn't you say?

The $638M is their number for the entire market in FIVE years. This includes cable and all xDSLs.

Also, please note that AWRE's revenue this year includes not only cores and royalties from G.lite, but also up front licensing fees. These are one-time fees from their partners that will not be there next year, unless new products are introduced.
