Al: Clyde Pittman picked up on your posting and asked me to post the following for everyone to read. I suggest that everyone follow his advise and call or write to him. I think you will find it very useful and instructive. Wes ______________________________________________________ Wes: I picked up the posting on the thread re interests of shareholders. I have been admonished by the shareholder atty to be careful about the statements I make while things are still in this current state of flux. However, I do feel a responsibility to keep shareholders informed. One of my concerns is that much of what is going on now is of a legal nature and we are having to deal with a lot of triage. Frankly, I would rather tell shareholders what their directors "have accomplished" than to tell them what we "will do". This sounds too much like promoting; I believe the shareholders are probably fed up with the style of former management that promised much but delivered nothing but more misery. We prefer to act differently. If the shareholders will be a little patient, they can be certain that some very talented people are working very hard every day with the shareholder interest foremost on their agenda. Unfortunately, we have inherited such a complete fiasco that it would take the wisdom of a Solomon to quickly decide which way to go to optimize the proper path. I believe the collective wisdom of the new management team approaches this standard. I continue to be in equal parts enthusiastic, frustrated, outraged, and determined that this thing will work out. The people I work with amaze me with their talent and insight not only into telecommunications but also business principles in general. I can say with all sincerity to the shareholders that "this is not last year's management team". This will probably be the last time I ask you to deliver a posting on the thread until I get a clear direction from our legal people that I can say something substantive. Forgive me, but I do not enjoy empty rhetoric. One thing I can do is send to individual shareholders the bios of all the directors. Since I cannot access the thread directly, and you apparently have been unable to open the bio files I sent you, I can say that if any interested shareholder will simply E-mail me at cpittman@ix.netcom.com, I will E-mail or fax the director bios to that shareholder. We have already done this for several shareholders. Also, any shareholder can call me at 972-253-5015 and I will at least introduce myself. We welcome the interaction. Thanks, Clyde
