Got a new problem and I though I had seen em all. Yesterday I bought CMNT in my account planning to sell covered calls. After the buy, I tried to call up the options chain and got nothing. I tried a few times. Then I went to the CBOE site and got a quote on the options, and placed my etrade sell order. The system took it and it showed on my "open order" screen as okay. Then about 15 minutes latter I get an alert saying the order is not OK, and that uncovered calls are not allowed in my account. I checked the account, owned the stock, tried to write again. Same thing, it took the order and latter sent an alert. I called and got them to place the trade manually.

The Etrade system gets so screwed up sometimes. Dose this happen to everyone or are they picking on me?
