(OTC Bulletin Board: SCEP) announced today its plans for an enhanced website for taking e-commerce orders of its Nutriceutical and Medical Device products. The website, currently under construction, will allow customers to place orders through a link to Yahoo's (Nasdaq: YHOO) Shopping site. This ordering system is similar to the one used by Amazon.com, Onsale.com, and other major e-commerce sites such as Ebay, Ubid, Citron Inc., and SkyMall Inc. In addition to Medisys's own products, the site will be available to customers of the Medisys nutriceutical manufacturing and packaging division to showcase their products. This Medisys division manufactures over 350 nutriceutical and over-the-counter drug products for more than 100 companies that market to major food, drug, health and wellness chains throughout the United States and overseas. Medisys has also executed a letter of intent to acquire a $5 million specialty wholesale marketing company. This company markets nationwide to over 3,000 independent pharmacies and over 12,000 chain pharmacies including Eckerd, Walgreens and Rite Aid. The website is expected to enhance the already existing sales of this company's pharmaceutical and nutritional products. The Medisys website will provide a wide range of health care products. "Medisys views the e-commerce market as a perfect venue for distribution of the company's products," says Kerry Frey, Medisys's COO. "With the vast number and variety of potential products available, our goal is to become a virtual e-commerce supermarket," he added.
