Finally, at least someone is posting information relative to the subject of this stock. I'm new to this stuff. I'm a consultant who is bored@work and decided to invest and follow the stock market during the day. I bought a couple of shares of WCTI. It didn't go up, I'm not really discouraged because I see potential behind search engines. Most of them suck, and I can't believe the ones that suck are trading for silly amounts of money (no names mentioned). Being new, I diversified, so some of my picks are doing well (go AOL and MSFT), some are holding (INTC, TECD) and some need improvement (WCTI). But I see potential, especially in the future. The SPYHOP.COM main page is simple, loads FAST, and is very organized. The name is catchy. Meanwhile, go to another search engine page there's 1000 click-able points on the screen, where do you go? In any case, I realize that this may change, but my attention was held by my first impression. The WordCruncher.com web site is also very appealing to the eye. No cheesy clip arts, very nice graphics, simple to navigate, and very pleasing to the eye. It makes it EASY for people to use. EASY is the word. Most people coming on to the Internet these days are novices, and never touched a computer. Put them on a cluttered web page and they are like a mouse in a maze. In conclusion: Catchy name, pleasurable to the eye, and easy to use. Pure marketing strategy. So anyway, that's where I stand. I would think some of the people on this thread would be a bit more mature rather then to complain and badmouth a stock. But I guess immaturity runs everywhere- so I'm not surprised. I would figure that someone who wasn't interested wouldn't read about a stock or follow it- but obviously there are some people who are still intrigued.. Just remember: Bad publicity is just as good as good publicity. Why? Because the name is always associated with the publicity, and it gathers people's interest. No publicity at all, will gain no interest. Take care, Richie
