Here's a copy of a post I put up on the Yahoo board (that board unfortunately has mostly greedy garbage posters on it, unlike SI's).

It takes very big balls to short this stock...

Just for the reason that it has a float of only 3 million shares.
Anyone who knows even a little bit about shorting knows to stay away from stocks with small floats. If
institutions see a heavily shorted stock with limited shares outstanding, they will start buying big-time just to
make lots of $$$ on the inevitable short squeeze. They really won't give a damn about the company's
fundamentals.

Speaking of fundamentals, the video conferencing market WILL take off soon (I'm in the industry) and once
Wall Street realizes that (this is likely to happen at about 6 months out), the players with leading edge
technology and/or markeshare will launch upwards very quickly (this is what happened to other nascent
technology markets -- look at YHOO, NEON, BRCM, CREE, etc.). Similarly, you can rest assured that
FVCX and perhaps Polycom will be BIG winners. PCTL and VTEL with lots of older technology baggage
to tote around will do just okay.

I agree with Mr. Ungermann that the 2nd half of '99 will be the "inflection point" for the industry (this has
actually already begun to happen, albeit quietly for now). The necessary bandwith, advances in technology,
lower prices, and standardization provides the catalyst that will drive demand. The tremendous savings in
corporate travel costs alone makes VC worthwhile.

Strap on your seat belts since FVCX will be blasting off sooner than you think.

Carey,

Are there any other related plays that will benefit off of the NGI? I have to admit I haven't looked too hard, but if you could point me toward some of the related companies I'd appreciate it.
