I think that is where the most recent announcement from Samsung should prove to be most strategic ... Included in the order dated Feb. 24 you had in metal 9600PTX down to .18 ... 9400PTX in poly down to .18 (STI) ... and the 4520XL (.25) which can be retrofitted to become and XLe for a couple hundred thousand which should be good at .18 in the oxide world ...

A steep ramp from Samsung does not hurt does not hurt LRCX, especially in light of their improved position there ...

In terms of TERES ... You got me ... AMAT will be there in CMP ... Ebara will be strong in Japan ... The question is whether TERES is actually "the real poop." Definitely ask someone better equipped than I from an engineering standpoint to answer that one. It does, however, look like a tough road for SFAM/IPEC no matter what TERES does in the marketplace ...

Who is better in vias ... good question to open to the thread ... too technical for me! I am better equipped to talk about the business model and the balance sheet ... always want to learn more on the technical side, though.

Good to hear from you again, Kirk.
