TSIG and Domains TSIG has 250 plus domains registered. Can anybody spell...... E-X-P-O-T-E-N-T-I-A-L ! << There are a number of good reasons for having more than one domain name to represent a commercial Web-Site. It's good to have multiple presentations on the Internet in terms of exposure by the search engines. To be accepted formally by the search engines, it sometimes required to have each domain name go to a little home page that has some unique information or content but always with a very prominent single click link to the main site and main domain name. This way the company will have several listings in a search engine result among other competing sites. Having more names gives the ability to present a higher profile on the search engines and www.internetbestbuy.com appeals the most and is the easiest to remember, also another alias benefits during indexing. >>
