I think it unwise to compare HP's computer business with SVGI. HP's problems are not "engineering oriented," but business specific. Don't want to waste thread space on this issue, but HP became dominant BECAUSE of their engineering abilities IMHO. They lost their dominance going into business that can be run leaner, meaner, etc. Computers are NOT photolithography machines. Hence, HP (or Dell) is not SVGI (or ASMLF), and SVGI (and ASMLF) is not HP (or Dell). Be careful comparing apples and steaks. :~)
