Are the prices under our messages real time?
I didnt think they were but they seem to be changing constantly. Of course they could change constantly twenty minutes behind, I guess.

Chuzz,
Hi!!!
RE: Now the good news: the representative told me that sales had been a bit soft prior to the introduction of the PIII machines. Now that the PIII is available he says that his phone system is lit up like a Christmas tree all the time. Dell has hired temps to keep up with the demand.

Some slowdown huh?? This type of info has been very accurate in the past...Thanks...it's what I've been hearing also...sales reps have big smiles on their faces...and the parking lot is full at Metric..

Best, Kemble

Paul,

Good report! One of the job that an analyst should do is undertake field checks. Some enterprising analysts even pay bird dogs to count the number of cars in the employee parking lot. The more temps there are, the more cars in the lot, and that means increasing volumes. 5fer is still in denial, he would never admit that Dell is eroding CPQ market share.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Your 20 minute on hold is a joy to us.

Best regards.

Paul.
