Look the government and marketing people need to be able to pinpoint your computer. I am sure the NSA, CIA and other government agencies will find this feature very useful. Meanwhile, in China, R&D is underway to make sure this feature is permanently disabled. VBG

Yes it will crush the EPS of the competitors. This is an inventory turns game so if DELL can produce enough volume they can actually offset the impact of price cuts on their EPS. You are viewing this from the "old batch manufacturing" model.
