USWB - RESEARCH ALERT - USWeb started as buy

NEW YORK, March 16 (Reuters) - SoundView Technology Group said Tuesday its analyst Matthew Luckett had initiated coverage of USWeb Corp. with a buy rating.

-- SoundView said in a research note that Luckett had set a price target of $48.

-- It said Luckett had also set an earnings estimate of $0.43 per share for fiscal 1999 and $0.69 for 2000.

-- USWeb's stock was up 2-1/16 at 41-9/16.

Dawg,

Are you looking at WCAP as a day trade, a position trade, or a long term hold? Seems to me that the company is well positioned for long term growth, but the shorter term outlook is less obvious. After yesterday's run, it may just die for a while.
