"Look out below" is right....and you may get the same reaction if the TIPS shares are restricted, just a guess.

I agree that there will be a great sell-off whether or not they are restricted, so why do it? Maybe an advantage for the company to grow...don't know for sure. But as a shareholder, I would rather see them given out freely. I also believe in this company and would not sell most of my shares of TIPS...unless of course we saw a huge runup, which would be OK. Would then buy back later at a lower price.

Sorry if I seem a little tense....could be all the pressure, just caught me of guard is all :-)

If it is an IPO and there is a market - and other people are trading - and traders run it up - then we absolutely must be able to trade, otherwise we have nothing except what is left after the action.

If they are restricted - I'm out of here !
