If Buffett had sold he would have no reason not to say that.

What does he care? And if he's interested in getting back in, it might get some "coattailers" to push it down further at which point he might reinstate his position.

But if he's holding, silence is the best policy. It can't be criticised as hype.

In silver for the long term, which is his M.O., he doesn't worry about silence being misconstrued and holding the price back.

If his silence pushes the price down, he can pick up more if that's his plan.

Goes up?? Great!

After all, he already knows, and everyone else only wishes they did.

Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't like it that way.
