The new version of TradeStation is bad. I was really looking forward to the new version (having used it since 1994), but they turned an elegant, reliable version into a clunky, unreliable mess. It was so hard to figure out how to do things that I ended up collapsing in laughter. Omega (OMGA) got rid of their Data Downloader and now practically force you to go to an Internet site for interminable end-of-day downloads. I do not understand why they renamed something as intuitive as "ChartScanner" and turned it into "WorkspaceAssistant". Everything is like an Easter egg.

Bizarre bugs such as the following:

1. Convert charts from daily to intraday and the program leaves a trail of random pixels scattered across the screen.

2. Plot activity bars and then remove them. The bar charts become garbled and the price data setting changes magically from one number to another.

A $3000 program comes with a total of 2 manuals each a little over 100 pages; one would expect that the on-line documentation would be comprehensive and easy to use - FORGET IT.

Time to look into alternatives such as MetaStock Pro or WOW... Can anyone recommend a good analysis package?
