Let's start over again. I'm not sure what I said that set you off, but I certainly meant no offence. I thought that thanking someone for an interesting post and suggesting that we not insult one another was a safe enough way to start communicating with the thread. There may be a DRAM glut, but there has long been a civility shortage on this thread.

MB, Thank you for being such a charming host and attracting such an entertaining, insightful, and friendly crowd to this thread. I've been reading the thread daily since September and feel like I know all the folks here almost like family. Even the puerile hecklers remind me of family (my wife's, of course). Now that I have sprung for a membership in SI, I hope to contribute an occasional question and comment to this splendid community. I am particularly grateful to the thread for helping me maintain my hold on economic and financial reality. I have never heard so much self-serving baloney, absurd fantasizing, and outright charlatanry as is being belched forth by the Wall Street machine. But if you hadn't taught us how to recognize your beloved "flapdoodle" when we see it, and I hadn't learned from and about exceptional analysts like Earlie and Fred Hickey, I don't believe I, for one, would have had the courage to stand up to the spin-meisters and scam-artists and announce that the emperor has no clothes. BS, I seem to have disturbed the local skunk. Since you are so obsessed with ferreting out bias, I should tell you that I am rapidly developing a very strong bias against YOU. What is your goal on this thread, anyway? To spew bile at anyone you detect with a "bias?" The only one on this thread that is offensive and spewing bile is YOU...in addition I never posted to you before today and then it was only in response to your obnoxious offensive post. Get a life.<g> DavidG PS: I took the liberty of reading some of your posts. After vomiting I realized you were just a brown noser trying to get recognition. Me thinks you are on the wrong thread. I would say stay on the other thread ....but I know MB and wouldn't want to insult him by sticking him with the likes of you. You are too too transparent.:-)
