David and all HD longs,,,, Did you notice that HD will be seeking shareholder approval to increase the number of shares again.

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO INCREASE AUTHORIZED SHARES

A proposal to amend our Certificate of Incorporation to increase the number of
authorized shares of our common stock from 2,500,000,000 shares to 5,000,000,000
shares.

sec.gov

Notices for vote will go out mid April, with the annual meeting on May 26th . Historically when HD has split it comes via a request to increase the shares , just before the annual meeting and in the May to June time frame. I have been through 7 splits so far and can't complain. No guarantee, but thought many would like to know if they did not read the SEC filing. A stock price goung into the meeting above 70 would bode well for a split announcement even though at current levels it is possible. Go HD... long and loving it.
Regards,
Tom
