Michael,

Did you listen to the CC?

I don't think you did, because you would understand the anger that CPU shareholders have regarding Mr Hairpin.

CPU was my "value" play for what I thought (and still think) is a very overvalued market. I parked a good chunk of money in this stock for the nice safe spin-off play. Hairpin was so bullish on the future two quarters and the overall great shape that CPU was in that I broke my own rules and doubled down.

Imagine my surprise when I found out he was lying. If he had just told the truth I would have sold on the first sign of weakness.

Its about integrity, and Halpin has none.

During last quarter's presentation, he gave the impression that the turn around is on track. That was when many people bought the stock. He was fully aware of the problem then. If he was honest then, at least he would have hurt fewer people. The current situation with CPU is so bad and the stock is so depressed, he needs to do something drastic to turn the downward momentum around and spook the short a little bit. Two things he can do to save this stock now: (1) resign himself; (2) negotiate a deal with other companies.

The problem is he is unable to stop the sliding of this stock. The urgent thing right now is to inject some
confidence into the investment community by making some management change and shopping for a buyer.
Based on the balance sheet and business prospect, this stock should be above 10, and he needs to work hard
to get the stock above 10 quickly. How about authorizing a huge buyback? A huge buyback combined with
the spin-off of CompUSA.com may get this stock moving in the right direction. He needs to create some
excitement and an environment so the shorts will be scared and start covering
