I know what GNET is doing and I know what you are saying...
I am just bringing up the merits of other alternative strategies...

By spinning these off any of these into separate companies -
GNET could have been benefitted greatly by maintaining a significant stake in them - What do you think an IPO of any of those companies would fetch in the market today?

GNET doesn't have to sell them, they could have spun them off into separate IPOs, kept significant stakes, and got them well capitalized that way and took these companies to the next level

This CMGI type of strategy could have been explored -
but I know I know, its a growing community

I am just curious about the potential of doing things differently.

Exactly. GNET will now be acquiring and expanding at a much quicker pace, not throwing off parts of their hard-build community.
