Thus we see King William become the head of the London Branch of the Masonic Order in 1694. When Amschel Rothschild gave Adam Weishaupt the plans for forming the Illuminati in 1776, one main goal was the destruction of the Catholic Church. This is not surprising, as the goals and motivations of these secret societies are complete opposites to the teachings of Jesus. Such very poor scholarship. Obviously the author knows little of Masonry or its origins. I suggest the book "Born in Blood" by John J. Robinson for some interesting study on the ties between the Freemasons and the Knights Templar, which, due to their fear and jealousy of the Holy Sects growing wealth and power, the Catholic Pope permitted to be arrested and disbanded by Phillip the Fair in 1307. The Knights Templar, a military sect of fighting monks, were devoted believers in Jesus Christ, and sworn to protect the Holy Land and the pilgrims traveling there.. After there disbandment, many of those who got away without being tortured, and burned at the stake for heresy, went to England and Scotland where they found Sanctuary. It is suspected that the Free Masons were descendants of the secret network of safehouses and cells created to protect the knowledge of teh Templars. The evidence is very convincing. But it hardly suggests some form of sinister intent toward world control. Anti-Catholism, maybe, but not world control except through brotherhood. If King William had needed extra money, he could have just printed it; it is his stamp on whatever is used for money that makes it legal tender. In this way, money would be sent into circulation free of interest, without the subsequent need of taxes to pay both interest and principle. Hardly. Kings of England (and everywhere else) were constantly in debt fighting one war or another. It they had merely "printed" money, there would have been nothing to worry about. No. they utilized gold and silver as a currency of exchange and borrowed from the Hapsburgs and Medicis... etc.. when necessary. Regards, Ron
