Williams Conferencing Offers M.SHOW to ITTA Members for Interactive Broadcasting

DENVER, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Williams Conferencing, a unit of Williams Communications, part of Williams (NYSE: WMB), has signed an agreement with the Information Technology Training Association to offer M.SHOW, a web-based multimedia service that creates a new dimension of interactivity for audio conferencing.

Williams Conferencing is a reseller of M.SHOW, the interactive broadcasting tool created by Broadband Associates, Inc. that allows callers to talk with each other while simultaneously viewing the same presentation via the Internet. The service is geared to provide high-quality multimedia presentations during a conference call -- especially for training and investor relations applications.

The ITTA is the trade association for professionals and companies involved in the IT training industry. With more than 350 member companies worldwide, the ITTA takes an active leadership role in legislative efforts, professional development and business management conferences, and setting industry standards. Companies worldwide recognize the ITTA as the information resource in IT education management.

"Interactive distance learning presents certain challenges and we needed a workable solution for our members' training needs" said Doug Upchurch, ITTA executive director. "M.SHOW demonstrates how technology can supplement training and enhance the interactive distance teaching process. When combined with Williams Conferencing's other capabilities, M.SHOW demonstrates how all parties can benefit when they're reading -- literally -- off the same page."

M.SHOW adds value to the audio conference by improving the effectiveness of the customer's message with the addition of multimedia content. By enabling audience interaction from both the conference call line and the M.SHOW multimedia presentation, Williams Conferencing gives customers a broad- based solution for presenting visual information while audio conferencing.

"Williams Conferencing is committed to developing and delivering solutions for our customers' needs," said Linda Lawson, president and COO of Williams Conferencing. "We realize that their needs continually change. New options, such as M.SHOW, help our customers communicate more effectively and more efficiently."

Williams Conferencing is a provider of multipoint video and audio conferencing and special event multimedia communications management. Since 1992, Williams Conferencing's services have been equipment, carrier and technology/format independent. With headquarters in Denver, Williams Conferencing hosts multiple offices across the United States, including operations centers in Tulsa, Okla., and in the United Kingdom, offering conferencing solutions for businesses worldwide.
