Can you tell more about the CNBC coverage.

I see the looks of BRK as VERY favorable. WEB's letters always downplay the good stuff. GEICO's charging ahead and now there's General RE. Other business are going well (flight related and Dairy Queen making good earnings).

If (as stated by Motley Fool) last year, BRK was valued at 68-70k (as I recall), it's DEFINITELY worth a LOT more today!

Also, I expect VERY good years from KO, G, and AXP.

Also, WEB stated at last year's annual meeting that he had sold ALL of his McDonald's.

Quick run up. I am VERY amazed that it ran back down so quickly. On the other hand, the ride up occurred on quite light volume. I'm sure there wasn't much resistance coming down.

Made some $$ trading on that charge and today I LOADED UP when we got back to $2,400. Bought all the way down at prices above what I had sold at on the way up.

The market is really NUTS! But, hey, volatility gives a LOT of opportunities to those who are patient.

hi Depy :)

hang in there depy :) our position is solid
(long involved technical thread on motley fool
has intrinsic value of BRK to be around $90K
per A share -- same as payne webber.)

the current market (at least hi caps and technology)
has the aura of a mania. no possible analysis of
balance sheets and income statements can possibly
lead to an intrinsic value that would justify the
multiples being paid.

i would still rather be on our side drinking wine
than on the other.

so here is our proposition: drink 1/2 a bottle of the
wine now and save half for July (made that date up) then
we will just have to drink 2nd half in continued
lamentations or in celebration.

regards

p.s. finally remember that only three years ago this march
BRK.A was selling for around $36,000 ... even in the current
undervaluation we are still double in three years ...
