@Home Solutions Announces Executive Team

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- @Home Network ATHM , the leading provider of high-speed Internet services via the cable infrastructure, today announced the appointment of the core management team for @Home Solutions, the recently formed venture offering turnkey, fully-managed and comprehensive broadband cable Internet services for small and medium-sized cable operators and systems.
Executives have been gathered from major telecommunications, Internet and cable companies to deliver strong and relevant strategic management and marketing skills to lead @Home Solutions. The team includes Mark Mangiola, Vice President and General Manager, @Home Solutions Business Unit, who joins from @Home Network; Dan Donnelly, Director of Sales Development, previously at ISP Channel; Mariann Belmonte, Director of National Accounts, who joins from MediaOne. Together they bring more than 40 years of cable marketing experience to the venture.

Mark Mangiola, Vice President and General Manager, joins from @Home Network where he was Vice President Operations. Before joining @Home Network, Mangiola was President and CEO of Positive Communications. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President, Operations for KBLCOM/Time Warner in California. He has an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA from California State University, Long Beach.

Dan Donnelly, Director of Sales Development will be responsible for the addition of cable affiliates to @Home Solutions. He will also support @Home Network's set-top distribution sales initiative. Prior to joining @Home, Donnelly served as Senior Vice President, Affiliate Sales for the ISP Channel. He has also held key positions with Starsight Telecast, Showtime Networks and the Military Channel. He received an MBA from Oklahoma City Universtiy and a BA from Frostberg State Universtiy.

Mariann Belmonte, Director of National Accounts, will be responsible for the launch and management of the cable affiliates. Belmonte was most recently Western Region Director of Video Products and Services for MediaOne. Prior to that she was Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Time Warner Communications. She has also held positions at Comcast Cable, Choice Television, Showtime/The Movie Channel. She has a BS from St. John's University and has 19 years of cable experience.

The merger will be done by mid-April, the action of @home and xcit is kinda funny... but there are a few big contracts went through on the May 65(xcit), 1000 contracts, interesting.
