Here is a business description of Seagram (NYSE:VO, market cap $20B): "Produces and sells distilled spirits, wines, beers, coolers and mixers; produces and distributes motion picture, television and home video products, and recorded music; and operates theme parks and retail stores." Are you saying ebay has a better shot at "holding people's time and attention, and funneling their money"? Remember, people are not going to have significantly more time and money to spare 5 or 10 years from now. Or you think ebay is going to be their only hobby 24 hours a day?
